I have always had a passion for words; whether I was reading them, writing them, or hearing them. I fell in love with books at a young age, and have hardly looked up from the pages since. 

 

I graduated from the University of Guelph with a B.A. in English Literature, because I wanted an excuse to read books all day every day. I then went on to receive my Ontario Graduate Certificate in Journalism from Humber College because I wanted to try having other people read my words for a change.

My favourite author is John Steinbeck, because I have never come across a writer who did a better job of showing what it really means to be a human being. My favorite colour is green, my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (because they are based on great books of course), and my favorite pastimes all include reading, music, or food.
